England faced a great setback before his next three -game ODI series against Western Indies, with the Gus Atkinson pacemakers with an injury to the hamstrings. The 27 -year -old sprinter suffered the injury during the recent unique test against Zimbabwe, which the three lions won convincingly for an entrance and 45 races.
It is understood that England’s Management would not name a replacement player for Atkinson in the 50 Overs series, scheduled to start from May 29.
However, ATKINSON is expected to be fit for the series of tests of five high -profile games against India, which will begin from June 20.
In particular, Atkinson is England’s second player to be discarded against the Windies, with the Talismán Jofra Archer pacemaker also suffering a similar destination. Archer had collected a thumb problem while he was exercising his trade with the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Premier League of the current Indian (IPL 2025). It was subsequently replaced by Luke Wood in the Odi team.
In addition to the three Odi, England will also block the horns with the Western Indies in so many T20IS, as of June 6.
