The former captain and legend of India, MS Dhoni, has been included in the CPI Hall of Fame, 2025 class. The 43 -year -old man who has taken India to three CPI titles: the World Cup T20 T20 2007, the World Cup ODI 2011 and the 2013 Champions Trophy, is one of those induced for this year.

Together with Dhoni, the Batting Great Hashim Amla, Graeme Smith, former New Zealand Captain Daniel Vettori and Australian opener Matthew Hayden also obtained the prestigious honor in the male category.

Speaking about the ocasion, Dhoni said: “It is an honor to be appointed in the Hall of Fame of the ICC, which recognizes the contributions of the Crickets in all generations and of the whole world. Having their name remembered along with such greats of all time is a wonderful feeling. It is something that I will appreciate forever.”

MS Dhoni is the eleventh Indian to be induced to the Hall of Fame of the CPI.

In particular, Dhoni is the 11th Indian that is included in the CPI Hall of Fame (Ninth Male Player) after Bishhan Singh Bedi, Neetu David, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Kapil Dev, Diana Edulji, Sunil Gavaskar, Anil Kumble, Vinoo Mankad, Sehwag and Sacina Tendulkar.

Apart from his brilliant captaincy, Dhoni was phenomenal with the bat and his gloves as well. Speaking of his numbers, the Wickt-Keop batter represented India in 90 trial games, 350 ODI and 98 T20IS.

In the test cryket, Dhoni accumulated 4,876 races, including six centuries, along with 256 trapped and 38 stumps. In Odi, he accumulated an impressive 10,773 races with an exceptional average of 50.57, which also included 321 captures and 123 stumps. In the shortest format, the right scored 1,617 races while ensuring 57 trapped and making 34 stumps.
