The SUV of the Mumbai Indians (MI) of the Female Premier League (WPL) 2025, Chloe Tryon, has impressed in the continuous tri-series series of Sri Lanka that involves India. The 31-year-old took a hat-trick to help South Africa through the line against Sri Lanka in the last League match of the series.

Previously, with the bat, Tryon also collected Brownie points with a 51-Ball 74 to help take the score at 315/9.
Tryon went on to pocket the Match Player Award for his Integral Heroic in Colombo. Although South Africa won this game, he scored his only victory in the Tri series. With the women of India winning three and the hosts who win two games, South Africa is out of the competition.

While defending 315 races against Sri Lanka, Tryon drew the first blood in the form of Hasini Perera opener in the tenth. He looked good with a 30 balls 30.
In a period of four overs, Tryon also dismissed Vishmi Gunaratne to finish his 41 balls 24.
The wickts continued to waste for Sri Lanka. Captain Chamari Athapaththu was the top scorer with 52 of 57 balls. After the medium order collapse of SL, SA was in the game. The protea spinner became the third woman of her nation to collect a hat-trick in the 50-year format. Previously, Dane Van Niekerk (2013) and Masabata Klaas (2019) had achieved this feat. In general, Tryon is only the 13th woman to do so in this format.
Returning to the game, Inoshi Priadharshani sold out in the 43rd, which ended Lankan’s batting. Goalkeeper Anushka Sanjeewani was undefeated with 43 of 32, since Sri Lanka was expelled by 239. South Africa won the game for 76 races.
Then, however, Sri Lanka will face India on May 11 on the same ground for the final of the Tri-series.
