What exactly happened at the Australian camp?
Leading Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood seemed frustrated with the performance of the batsmen in the Perth Test against India and when asked to share his thoughts on the matter, he said: “You probably have to ask one of the batsmen that question.” .
These comments sparked speculation about a rift in the Australian dressing room when legendary batsman and wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist opined that there was a divide in the team between the batsmen and the bowlers.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan suggested there were internal tensions in the Australian camp and expressed surprise at Josh Hazlewood’s comments.
Recently, Test captain Pat Cummins and paceman Mitchell Starc were also asked questions relating to a dressing room rift, quashing all rumours.

Speaking to 7news, Head said they had a bad week in Test cricket as they faced a humiliating 295-run defeat to India.
However, Travis Head denied claims of a breakup, saying “people pulled the bones out of a comment.” He added that the players were together after the first test.
“I think (people) have gotten the bones out of a comment after a bad week, which is good. “All the guys were together last night, nothing changed in the way we were as a group,” Head told 7NEWS.
“We stuck together, had good conversations as we always would, whether we won or drew. It is a fairly high-level group. “There was certainly a lot of disappointment in the room, but there were definitely no factions,” he added.
We played pink ball well there traditionally and look, we’re going to have to do it – Travis Head
The second Test of the two-match series between India and Australia will begin on December 6 in Adelaide, and will be the pink-ball day-night Test.
Travis Head said that they play the pink ball Tests very well but will have to give their best against India in the next Test to claim a win and level the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 1-1.
“We played the pink ball well there traditionally and it looks like we’re going to have to. There’s nothing to hide behind that, we have to play better. Nothing is guaranteed in this game, but if we work hard, there’s no reason we can do it.” “. Don’t turn it around.”
