Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) JITESH Sharma remembered his inaugural team in India in the middle of the ongoing Premier League (IPL 2025). The 31 -year -old revealed how he was suddenly called to replace Sanju Samson in the Indian team due to his unfortunate knee injury. He received a call from an Indian selector in the middle of his practice session.
“I entered as a replacement in the Indian team when Sanju (Samson) Bhai had a knee injury. While I ran on the floor, I received a call from Xyz, who called me and said: ‘Hey, I am an Indian selector. We are eager to join the Indian team, so prepare. At night, you will receive a call on your output details.’ ”He said in a video shared by the RCB on his official YouTube channel.
In particular, the Wicktkeeper-Bater obtained its call from an inaugural national team for the Home T20i series against Australia in December 2023. Previously, it appeared in the winning team of the Indian gold medal at Indian Games at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou.

The RCB batter shared that the first day of practice was a little nervous. It was incredible for him to wear that Indian shirt and join star players like Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya along with chief coach Rahul Dravid.
