The all -terrain of Bangladesh, Mahmudullah, who was part of the Champions Trophy 2025 team has urged the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) not to offer a central contract. However, the 39 -year -old will receive the salary for the month of January and February, since he played for the national team at the beginning of the year.
It is understood that in the list of central contracts proposed by 2025, the selection panel kept Mahmudullah in the B.
A BCB source aware of the developments told Cricbuzz: “He (Mahmudullah) asked the Board not to consider it in the central contract from March onwards.”
In addition, he has announced that he does not want to be part of the ODI 2027 World Cup.

During the most recent meeting meeting, the draft central contract was presented, but it was not approved immediately. After the 2025 Champions League, Mahmudullah’s positions and Mushfiqur Rahim in the national team were questioned.
