The Batter de Order Media Travis Head has opened in Australia’s plans to shuffle the batting order in the next series of Sri Lanka tests. The head, which generally beats at number 5 in tests, will be in a fight with the young Sam Konstas to open the batting with Usman Khawaja.
Konstas was impressive in his first testing against India at home and played a role in the victory of the Australian test series. Meanwhile, Head also had a great series with the bat, since he ended up as the best corridor in the series.
Only a few days before the start of the test series, Head was asked about his batting position, but he had no idea of that. The left -hander also asked his team to be brave and flexible enough to play in any condition in the world.

Travis Head asks Australia to be brave
While talking to journalists before the main training session on Monday, Travis Head said he did not know his batting place. “I don’t know where I’m going to hit this stage. We’ll see how that wickt develops in the next few days,” Head said.
When asked about the possibility of opening the batting, Head accepted that it will be discussed in the Australian wardrobe. He called his team’s batting order to be more flexible and try different things.
“It has been a topic of conversation for the last little one in this team about whether the first Australian entries, second tickets, why don’t you change the order? Why can’t we be flexible? What movements? How can we be brave? That has not yet developed as such.
Travis Head on Australia testing different combinations
Travis Head also said that the Crick game is evolving and teams must do something different. He believes that the Australian team has enough experience to try different batting combinations.
“The game is evolving, so why not keep seeing where we can make jumps and jumps and where can we get an advantage?
“If that is using people in different positions, it is traditionally not done, but this team is experienced enough and in an excellent position where players will be open to that if necessary,” he added.
Travis Head’s recent trial form
Travis Head registered an average of only 7.66 while hitting at number 5 on his last Sri Lanka test tour. However, the left -hander enters the series in progress with a great way to his credit.
Head scored 448 races in five tests in the Border-Gavaskar trophy to an average of 56. He scored his races at a 92.56 attack rate with 2 hundred and 1 fifty. The head counterattack approach will be tested in the friendly conditions with the turn in Sri Lanka.
On the other hand, Sam Konstas played the last two tests against India and added 113 races to an average of 28.25. The teenager showed his intrepid approach against the best bowling player in the world Jasprit Bumrah, who became the highlight of his debut.
