
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are now one step away from winning their elusive title of the Premier League of the Indian Premier (IPL 2025) after sealing a final position, surpassing Punjab Kings (PBK) in qualifying 1 comprehensively for eight WICKETS. In the process, the Bengaluru team reached an IPL final after nine long years, since it played for the last time in 2016.
After the victory, the former RCB and Proteas Graat Ab de Villiers shared a special message for the franchise and its fans. Interestingly, De Villiers also highlighted how Virat Kohli has urged him not to use a specific phrase not to do his possibilities.
Speaking in the Cricinfo ESPN Show, AB said: “The time has come. RCB is happening until the end. I am not allowed to say the terms of Bangalore (EE Saala Cup Naam de) due to virat (Kohli). He told me that I am no longer allowed to say that, but I really think we are going to go to this season.
