The control board for Cricket in India (BCCI), in collaboration with the Indian railways, has organized a special train of Vande Bharat to transport Punjab Kings players (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) from Dharamshala to Delhi. Development occurs after the Premier League of the current Indian (IPL 2025) was suspended due to the growing border tensions between India and Pakistan.
In a video posted by the IPL on their social media channels, players could be seen traveling on the train while extending their gratitude to the BCCI for providing the rapid remedy.

When will IPL 2025 resume?
There has been no confirmation on the reset date for IPL 2025. In the statement issued by BCCI today, it is understood that the current suspension is only a week with more details that will be provided in due time.
In the event that the IPL 2025 does not resume within a week, BCCI should look for a window to fit in the remaining games in the middle of a crowded International Cricket calendar.
The time frame between the last week of August and early September seems to be the ideal adjustment, during which the Asia Cup was scheduled to be retained, but will probably be discarded.
As for the playoffs race, there are still seven teams in contest. Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), PBK and the Indians of Mumbai (MI) currently occupy the first four, followed respectively by DC, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in later positions. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are already out.
