On Sunday, September 22, Eden Carson left her teammate Jess Kerr in awe with a hilarious prank. She pulled it during the recently concluded second T20I between Australia and New Zealand.
Talking about the game, Australia beat New Zealand by 29 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Batting first, Australia was bowled out for 142 runs in 19.3 overs. Captain Alyssa Healy was the top scorer for her team, scoring 38 runs off 25 balls with the help of 6 fours.

Ellyse Perry also played a very useful role by scoring 34 runs, while no other Australian player could reach the 20-run mark. For New Zealand, Amelia Kerr shone with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, New Zealand could only score 113/7 in 20 overs. Australia kept the New Zealand batters at bay throughout the game as the Sophie Devine-led side hardly looked likely to reach the total.
Suzie Bates was the only New Zealand batsman to offer any resistance with the bat, scoring 34 runs per ball. For Australia, Ashleigh Gardner impressed with the ball, taking 3 wickets and 17 runs. The defeat was New Zealand’s ninth in a row in T20Is.
Eden Carson makes a very funny joke:
While the game was underway, Eden Carson cracked a very funny prank and left her teammates in shock. While most of the New Zealand players and support staff were all smiles after the prank, Jess Kerr was not among them.
The reason was that Eden Carson played a prank on Kerr and left her scared. It happened when New Zealand’s innings was being played. At the end of the 12th over, Eden Carson was seen picking up an insect from the ground near the dugout.
While the players were busy watching the game, Eden Carson walked over to the dugout and held the bug on Kerr’s shoulder. Kerr was shocked by the joke and jumped out of his seat, leaving his teammates and others in shock.
