[WATCH] Karun Nair, Jasprit Bumrah involved in heated arguments after the DC impact player crushes 18 races from my star in IPL 2025 return

The pacemakers of the Mumbai Indians (MI) Jasprit Bumrah and Delhi Capitals (DC) Batter Karun Nair were involved in a heated exchange when the teams blocked the horns tonight (April 13) in the Premier League of the ongoing India (IPL 2025).

In the PowerPlay final, Nair took Bumrah to the cleaners for 18 races, which included two maximums and a limit.

The duo ran into while leaving and finally led to a confrontation between the duo. Karun Nair – Jasprit Bumrah Faceoff Hogged headlines after the DC batter, on a IPL return road after 3 years, broke the pacer mi.

The reaction of the former captain of my Rohit Sharma to the entire incident was also hilarious since the veteran of the Mumbai Indians was seen imitating the fight with a smile on his face. The incident occurred when Karun accidentally ran into Bumrah while trying a single. As he apologized immediately, Bumrah was clearly not happy and was seen walking towards Karun to speak.

Karun was seen protesting that it was just an accident and was comforted by Hardik Pandya, my captain. However, Bumrah did not seem too satisfied with the entire incident and the ton he received from Karun could have played a role in the rare show of aggression of the sensation of Indian rhythm.

Karun Nair returns to IPL with 89 discount on 40 at dc vs my match

Karun Nair’s return to Indian Premier League was nothing less than sensational. Making an IPL appearance after a 1077 -day gap, the 33 -year -old right reminded all of their class to 89 of only 40 deliveries for Delhi’s capitals against the Mumbai Indians. It was his highest score in the history of IPL, surpassing the 83 he scored for Delhi Daredevils against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.

When he arrived as an impact player, Nair did not waste time. He mentioned his half century in just 22 balls: his eleventh IPL fifty but the first in seven years, the last one who returned in 2018 while playing for Kings Xi Punjab. This entry was also special because of the way he faced Bumrah, but the greatest story is his return in himself and the way he has been dominating each tournament in recent times.

Nair’s resurgence can be accredited to a notable national season in 2024/25. Representing Vidarbha, he scored 255 races in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy at a 177 strike rate, followed by an impressive Vijay Hazare trophy campaign where he made 542 races in five tickets without being fired. He also achieved 863 races in the Ranji trophy, playing a key role in the victory of the Vidarbha title.

Bought by Delhi Capitals for ₹ 50 Lakh at the 2025 Mega auction, Nair’s return has not only been a personal triumph but also a timely reminder of his capabilities in a format where he had once lost his balance. This return entry could be the beginning of a new chapter in the Karun Nair IPL trip.
