The former Patron of Indians of Mumbai (MI) and the current patron of India, Rohit Sharma, were seen in honor of Gujarat Titans (GT) Pacer Mohammed Siraj with a special ring ahead of the game of the teams tomorrow (May 6) in the Premier League in the ongoing India (IPL 2025).
Indian players were awarded with special gold and diamond rings for their winning campaign in the T20 2024 World Cup during the BCCI Naman Awards held earlier this year. In particular, Siraj had lost the ceremony.
In a video posted by the BCCI in its social media handles, Rohit could be seen delivering the ring to Siraj and said:
“This is for Mohammad Siraj. We miss him in the function. You played a vital role in our T20 campaign. So I am proudly presenting a very special ring that was made for all of us. Unfortunately, Siraj was not there, so I would like to present this to Mr. Siraj.”
