Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain, Pat Cummins, made a surprising request to appeal for a dead ball during his match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) tonight (April 3) in the ongoing premier League (IPL 2025).
The incident occurred in the third ball of 13 for being thrown by Harshit Rana. The KKR pacemaker threw a short ball in the middle stump. It seemed that Cummins took his eyes for a moment and was lucky when the ball whistled beyond his bat, his ear and his helmet.
Next, Cummins could be seen walking through the fold to talk with the referee, demanding a dead ball because the frog towel fell when he delivered the ball. However, the referee rejected the request and asked Rana to continue.

After KKR’s hitters registered a solid total of 200 by 6 out of 20 overs, courtesy of Flourish of Venkatesh Iyer (60 of 29) and fifty of young Angkrish Raguvanshi (50 of 32), KKR bowling players increased heat.
Pacers Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana eliminated the great superior SHR request that includes the tastes of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Isehan Kishan at low price for single digit scores.
At the time of writing this report, the SRH marker read 117 for 9 in 16 overs with Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel currently hitting in the middle.
