England will receive Western Indies in the 1st Odi in Edgbaston.
A new era of the white ball will begin for England, since they receive Western Indies in three hate and three T20i, as of today. The local team announced the XI game for the first one -day international, with Gus Atkinson missing from the team sheet.
England will enter the first game of the series in Edgbaston with a rhythm attack by Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Crse and Jamie Overton. Adil Rashid is the main spinner. Will Jacks, Jacob Bethell and Joe Root will enter the quota of the fifth bowling player.
Why does like Atkinson missing in Eng vs Wi 1st Odi?
The officials ruled out the Surrey sailor of the Odi series only 44 hours before the first game. Atkinson suffered a right ischiotibial strain during England’s test against Zimbabwe last week.
Atkinson has played 11 hate in his career so far, although he has not had an impact as he has done on the tests. He has taken 13 WICKETS at 40.53 and an economy of 6.69. England has decided not to present any replacement.
