Delhi Capitals (DC) decided to drop his experienced Bowling player Mohit Sharma for the clash against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing Premier League (IPL 2025). The news was confirmed by the Captain of DC Axar Patel during the launch of the currency.

In the place of Mohit, Sri Lanka Quick Dushmantha Chameera enters the capitals of Delhi playing XI. The reason behind this can be attributed to the red ground strip used for the game at the Ekana stadium. Chameera will provide more rhythm and bounce on Sharma and can better extract the tone conditions.

Chamera will be specifically crucial in the Death Overs to counteract the great LSG finalists in David Miller and Abdul Samad.

Mohit Sharma form in IPL 2025

Mohit Sharma, who was acquired by DC for INR 2.2 million rupees at the auction, has appeared in the seven games that DC has played so far this season before tonight.

However, Mohit has not been able to deliver, collecting only two WICKETS in his name to a poor average of 105 and an expensive economy of 10.
