According to the IPL Code of Conduct (Article 2.22), the captain is fined with 24 Lakh for a second slow offensive in excess rate in a season. Other players in game XII, including the impact player, are fined with INR 6 Lakh or 25% of their match rate, which is lower. The IPL has also eliminated the rule that suspended the captains after three crimes.
The first RR offensive this season arrived in a match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
