Krunal Pandya
Krunal Pandya is a strong contender to lead RCB in IPL 2025. After being released by LSG, RCB bought him for INR 5.75 crore. He has limited experience in IPL captaincy as he led LSG in six matches during IPL 2023 when KL Rahul was injured. However, his domestic experience as captain of Baroda could make him a viable option.
An all-rounder in the RCB lineup, Krunal could also benefit from Virat Kohli’s guidance if he is chosen to lead the team, making him a promising option for the leadership role.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the contenders for RCB captaincy in IPL 2025. After being released by SRH, RCB picked him up for INR 10.75 crore in the auction. While his experience as an IPL captain is minimal, with just six matches during his time with SRH, Bhuvneshwar has demonstrated leadership skills in domestic cricket, where he is currently captaining Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
At RCB, he is expected to lead the bowling attack, forming a formidable partnership with Josh Hazlewood.
