The Indian team suffered a new blow ahead of the ICC 2025 champions trophy after a Wicktkeper-Batter Rishabh Pant was beaten in its left knee by a Hardik Pandya shot during a training session in Dubai on Sunday.

Fortunately, the injury that Pant has suffered has turned out to be less serious after they saw him padding later. The BCCI also shared a video that showed Pant with the helmet on, further relieving the fears of the Indian team and its staunch fans. Despite these positive signs, according to the reports, PANT did not attend the field drills on Monday and, on the other hand, made a bit of batting in the shadow.

Among these three players, Riyan Parag could be the most likely of players to replace Rishabh Pant in the Indian team for the Champions Trophy.

He has only played only the hate against Sri Lanka last year, but what Parag brings to the table is his bat in an intrepid way. That is something that Rishabh Pant is also known, so it should be recruited for the squad, it would be a replacement for that sense.
