Given his incredible stats, the Kiwi will almost certainly have no shortage of takers.

Therefore, Conway will almost certainly have no shortage of takers in the upcoming IPL 2025 auction.
Likewise, let’s take a look at three teams that could have the 33-year-old high on their radar for next season.
Calcutta Knights Riders (KKR)
Acquiring Conway could be an intriguing option for the reigning IPL champions. With a limited remaining budget (INR 51 crore), KKR could target players who offer great value without exceeding their wallet, especially during intense bidding wars. Conway has been remarkably consistent for CSK and if the Yellow Brigade decides not to retain him using the RTM card, he could prove to be an excellent financial acquisition for KKR.
Conway’s ability to provide stability at the top of the batting order aligns perfectly with KKR’s needs. Furthermore, the presence of Dwayne Bravo, who moved from CSK to KKR as a mentor this season, could also influence this possible signing.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
The starting position has been a key focus for CSK, particularly after strong performances from players like Ruturaj Gaikwad. Devon Conway, known for his reliability in various formats, could be a great choice for this role. Its ability to stabilize an input or increase the pace when necessary makes it a flexible opening option.
Conway’s strong IPL track record, coupled with his reasonable base price and skill set, could make him an attractive option for CSK to consider using their Right to Match (RTM) card. His inclusion would bring stability at the top level, giving Gaikwad more freedom to express his game.

Mumbai Indians (MI)
MI are likely to focus on acquiring an opener at the auction who can complement Rohit Sharma at the top of the order, and Devon Conway appears to be the leading candidate. The 33-year-old has certainly attracted attention for his ability with both spin and pace.
For MI, looking to strengthen their top-class batting, Conway could easily fill the role once played by Quinton de Kock until the 2021 edition.
Conway’s presence alongside Sharma would give the former franchise captain the freedom to play his natural game. Furthermore, Conway’s great ability to handle spin makes him a valuable asset on the spin-friendly surfaces of the Wankhede Stadium.
