Jacob Bethell and Lungi Ngidi will not be available for the final round.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be happy to have most foreign players after resuming IPL 2025. However, some of them will leave before the playoffs, and RCB will need fresh players for the next round.
Jacob Bethell and Lungi Ngidi will not be available for the final round. While Bethell has to appear in the ODI series against England, coinciding with the IPL playoffs, Ngidi will return to South Africa to prepare for the final of the World Testing Championship (WTC).
Unfortunately for them, several quality players have already been taken by several teams, so the group of players is limited. RCB will be forced to settle with inexperienced players or outside the taste for the crunchy tournament.
We look at five players that RCB can bring as a replacement of Bethell and Ngidi in IPL 2025.
LEUSU DOO
Leus du Plooy is not praised enough for his experience as a batter despite doing it well everywhere. It will be an ideal replacement for Bethell, given the role it plays.
Like Bethell, Plooy also brings the LHB dimension and can play a useful left arm with the ball. It is powerful against Pacers and can quickly score from the beginning.
Plooy has a lot of experience playing in several T20 leagues, including SA20, The Hien, Pakistan Super League (PSL) and International League T20 (ILT20). Then, understand how franchise cryket works and can be established quickly, even if you have no experience in IPL.
Michael Bracewell
Michael Bracewell plays for Sultans fine in PSL 2025, but his team cannot qualify for the semifinals round. Therefore, Bracewell can be a replacement player since his PSL assignment will end.
RCB lacks a quality terrain, especially after Liam Livingstone was abandoned. Therefore, they need to fill this area, and some options available are better than Bracewell.
He also has previous experience playing for RCB in IPL 2023, where he did reasonably well. Since it is necessary with the ball and a batter capable in the lower order, Bracewell can provide the very necessary balance to the XI.

Mohammad prophet
If RCB does not get Michael Bracewell, Mohammad Nabi is another option that can play the same role. He is playing for the Karachi Kings, which will be classified for the next round, but PSL 2025 ends on May 25 and will not coincide with the Playoffs IPL 2025.
Nabi is among the most precise spinning spins of the World Cricket, which might not be a wickt-tomaker but can play tight spells. In addition, it is also a powerful mass that can be flexible with its batting position.
In addition, he has played for several teams in the IPL and knows the conditions in India well. While his experience is in decrease, NABI is still a quality operator with experience playing knockout matches.
Nathan Smith
The rise of Nathan Smith as pacemaker has been massive in the last year. It is a true Wickt-Tomator that can play a good pace and be useful in the power game and the medium.
He does not have enough franchise cryket experience, but Speedster Kiwi has played reasonable T20 matches. Smith has 67 wickts in an average of 24.17 in 58 tickets, including two four wickt and a five wickt route.
He has had a good start in his international career, but has not yet played T20is. It will be interesting to see if RCB prefers an unleaded pacemaker as a replacement.
Lance Morris
Lance Morris, a rhythm bowling player who comes out and can be a brave choice to replace Lungi Ngidi. Morris is among the fastest bowling players in the world and can play hard lengths for batters.
Morris has only played the Big Bash League in the franchise cricket, but has done so reasonably well. It has 40 WICKETS at 22.95 races each in 35 tickets, including a five Wickt route.
According to reports, Josh Hazlewood will be available for playoffs and mainly the bowl in the power and death game. Therefore, RCB has enough bowling players and would like an executor who can play burning spells in the middle.
