Former RCB talent Michael Bracewell

He is currently the best wickt bearer in Champions Trophy 2025.

The former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player Michael Bracewell is making a strong case to appear in the next season of the Premier League of India (IPL 2025) with some star exhibitions for his New Zealand national team. In particular, the Kiwi has previously played for the headquarters based in Bengaluru in IPL 2023.

Bracewell is currently the main WICKET-TOMADOR in the 2025 Champions Trophy with five scalp in two games. Impressed with a brilliant spell of 4 for 26 in 10 overs against Bangladesh today (February 24).

It was also among the 5 best Wickt-Tomadores of the ODI series of the tri-nation comprising Pakistan and South Africa before the ICC event.

Although surprisingly it was not sold at the auction last November, the Blackcap star can now arrive as a replacement lesion for RCB, who already bothers injuries to foreign stars.

Why can Michael Bracewell fit well in RCB?

Bracewell is already familiar with the franchise, after having exercised his trade before with them. The all -terrain batting also had a decent exit the last time it appeared in 5 games, accumulating 58 races and picking up six WICKETS.

In addition, the latest signings abroad at RCB, Josh Hazlewood and Jacob Bethell, have doubts for IPL 2025 edition, which presents a reasonable case for the Kiwi.

Bethell, like Bracewell, is a rotating SUV and is already missing the 2025 Champions Trophy due to an injury to the hamstrings.

On the other hand, Top Aussie Pacer Hazlewood also suffers from a similar destination, which currently deals with a hip problem after recently rehabilitating lateral and calf lesions.

Michael Bracewell, apart from his skills to take wickt, is more than a useful mass in the lower medium order and, therefore, can be a serious contender as a replacement for injuries for the next RCB IPL season.
