The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) on Friday to India a team for the two four-day matches against the Lions of England and an intra-scad match in June. Bengala’s first order batter, Abhimanyu Easwaran, has been appointed a team captain.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, which are part of the Gujarat Titans team in IPL 2025, will join the team before the second game scheduled for June 6.

Ruturaj Gaikwad included in the squad

A remarkable addition to the team is that of Ruturj Gaikwad. The Chennai Super Kings pattern (CSK) had been discarded from IPL 2025 in the middle of the tournament due to an elbow injury. Karun Nair, Tanush Kotian and Pacer Akash Deep also appear in the Indian team A.

The promising Wicktkeeper-Baters Dhruv Jurel and Isehan Kishan, and the all-terrain Nithis Kumar Reddy have also made the team. However, Shreyas Iyer does not appear.
