A former Cricket player who resonates with the problem is veteran Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
Being a spinner, Ashwin understands its importance, especially in subcontinent conditions, but even he feels that Indian selectors have wasted space by obtaining one, if not two additional spinners.

Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, the 38 -year -old highlighted three spinners who will receive the preference of the five selected.
Ravichandran Ashwin said: “I think we are too many spinner, if not 2. The 2 spinners of the left arm are your best altre in which Hardik Pandya. Then both Axar and Laadaje are going to play. Hardik will also play and kuldeep will play. If you want Varun Chakravarthy on the team, so you will have to make a pacemaker feel and use Hardik as your second pacemaker.
Ashwin supported the inclusion of Kuldeep in the XI of play without any concern, but acknowledged that Varun’s expense would be losing opportunities. However, the key question raised by the recently retired star was if India will have friendly conditions with the turn in Dubai as expected.
