Former Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt has questioned the Indian government’s policy of not sending its cricket team to play cricket matches in its neighboring country. Salman Butt noted that most of the team had visited Pakistan in the recent past and said that they did not face any problems during the tour.

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) decided not to travel to Pakistan for the Asian Cup in 2023. However, the BCCI approved the hybrid model, which was proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The BCCI was forced to make a decision when the PCB threatened to boycott the World Cup.

“It is a partial success [acceptance of the hybrid model]. India has a policy that they don’t want to come to Pakistan. Reason is not what everyone hears.” Salman ass.
