An old post by an astrologer has gone viral once again after Virat Kohli became a father for the second time. The former India captain, on Tuesday (February 20), announced that he and his wife Anushka Sharma welcomed his second child – Akaay.
Last month, the batting star took a break from the game citing personal reasons. At the time, he had not revealed the reason for his decision and finally revealed it this week. He and his wife are reportedly currently in London. In his social media post, Virat Kohli not only revealed the name of his son but also revealed that he was born on February 15.
“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are happy to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes at this beautiful moment in our lives. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude,” wrote Virat Kohli.
Astrologer’s prediction for Virat Kohli goes viral:
Soon after Virat Kohli announced the birth of his son, an astrologer’s prediction about the Indian cricket star went viral on social media. The astrologer had made the prediction in 2016. The viral post comes from a Facebook page called “Stars and Astrology.” The post was made in April 2016 when the astrologer made several predictions about Virat Kohli’s personal and professional life.
Her sixth prediction read, “Also, Virat will get a chance to have another child between 2021 and 2024.”
The same post went viral on social media after last year’s ODI World Cup and after India’s heartbreaking loss in the final. The publication claimed that the right-handed batsman will struggle with his form for a period of about 18 months from August 2025 to February 2027 before regaining his form ahead of the 2027 World Cup.
“Virat’s career will improve in 2027 and he will retire on a very high note before March 2028,” the post said.
Well, fans will hope that the prediction turns out to be true and Kohli wins another ODI World Cup before closing the curtain on his illustrious career.
