Australia are in full swing in Brisbane, reducing India to 51/4 after posting 445 runs in the first innings.
Coming into the match between India and Australia, the team led by Pat Cummins is in control. So far the match, which was marred by rain, has been all about them as they have dominated with both bat and ball and look favorites to win the game.
After they were asked to bat first, they put in an amazing effort. They posted a massive total of 445 runs, with Travis Head (152) and Steve Smith (101) hitting centuries. In the end, Alex Carey’s half-century took them to a total of around 450 runs.
With the ball, well, they have been up to the task. The hosts quickly removed four Indian wickets in Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant. On Day 3, India were 51/4 with KL Rahul (30*) and Rohit Sharma at the crease. The visitors would expect the duo to form a great partnership and get the team out of trouble.
