Following their rebranding from the Mississauga Panthers to the Bangla Tigers Mississauga, Mississauga had very little to build from after losing all of their games last season but they have turned things around this season with two wins in their opening three. They now face a Surrey Jaguars side that have started the campaign with a win and a loss in their opening two.

BANGLA TIGERS MISSISSAUGA FORM: FINDING THEIR FEET
Bangla Tigers Mississauga, captained by Bangladesh legend Shakib Al Hasan, began their second ever Global T20 Canada season with a 33-run loss to the Montreal Tigers but they have turned things around with a comfortable 22-run win over the Vancouver Knights before then enjoying a nail-biter against the Toronto Nationals in which they won by just two runs last time out to mean they have leapt back up the Global T20 Canada league table.

SURREY JAGUARS FORM: ALL-ROUND ABILITY
The Surrey Jaguars’ squad is specifically designed to be able to bat deep with plenty of bowling options. Captained by Marcus Stoinis, they boast the likes of Kyle Mayers, Mohammad Nabi, Sunil Narine and Logan van Beek with all five falling into the all-rounder category. It does mean a lack of really strong bowling, as shown by conceding 198-6 in their opener to the Brampton Wolves but an ability to squeeze games, as they did with an 80-run victory over the Toronto Nationals.

BANGLA TIGERS MISSISSAUGA BETTING ANALYSIS
Bangla Tigers Mississauga, who edged past the Toronto Nationals, were reliant on an expressive and powerful burst from former Namibia and South Africa international David Wiese towards the end of their batting innings with 38 not out from just 17 deliveries. However, despite his poor form, it remains ICC T20 World Cup scorer Rahmanullah Gurbaz that is their best bet. The Afghanistan batter began to find some time in the middle with 24 off 26 and if he can begin to up the tempo then he is worth persisting with for a bet to be their best bat in the match.
With the ball, the Tigers have some excellent options with some pace-off bowling from David Wiese, Ali Khan and Dilon Heyliger as well as the spin options of Shakib Al Hasan and Iftikhar Ahmed. Al Hasan has bowled well throughout the three games so far and the Bangladeshi legend to take another two or more wickets would seem a good bet against a Jaguars side that can be quite hit and miss through the middle.
SURREY JAGUARS BETTING ANALYSIS
The emphasis on all-rounders within the Jaguars squad does mean there is a lack of quality specialists at either end of their lineup. However, the one man at the top of the order they should expect to come good is Scotsman Brandon McMullen. During the ICC T20 World Cup, he showed some good ability to play pace well but this is a pace off tournament that should suit middle order hitters. However, if McMullen, who took Wiese apart in that tournament, can get hold of some of the start then him to score 30+ runs remains a good bet.
In the bowling department, the Jaguars have to move to all-rounders quickly but one man who is currently earning his money is the West Indian T20 great, Sunil Narine. Narine took 3-5 the other day off his four overs and with his angle of delivery and trajectory difficult to hit in Brampton, him to be their best bowler once again seems a good bet.
BANGLA TIGERS MISSISSAUGA VS SURREY JAGUARS EXPERT PREDICTION
After the start to life they had as a franchise, predicted Bangla Tigers Mississauga victories was not something one could do with confidence but the fact that they have managed to overcome their troubles that even lapsed into this season would be a good sign. Now, up against a Surrey Jaguars side that are reliant on players to perform one of their two skills on any given day, it would seem like a good time to side with the Tigers.
