According to Espncricinfo, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has reached an agreement with Indian Premier League (IPL) for the early launch of some players due to the next final of the World Testing Championship (WTC). The final will be held on June 11 in Lord’s, where South Africa will face Australia.

Eight South African players who are part of the WTC final team will return home before May 27, which means that IPL 2025 playoffs will be lost. The remaining South African players who are not involved in the WTC final will continue in the IPL until the end of the tournament.

The eight players who will leave are Kagiso Rabada (Gujarat Titans), Aiden Markram (Lucknow Super Giants), Marco Jansen (Punjab Kings), Tristan Stubbs (Delhi Capitals), Lungi Ngidi (Royal Challlens Bengalu), Wiaan Mulder (Sunrisers Hyderabad) Rickelton and Corbin Bonbin Bonbin Bonbin Bonbin Bonbin Benb (both Indians of Mumbai). They will travel to the United Kingdom on May 30 with the rest of the WTC team in South Africa to prepare for a warming match against Zimbabwe from June 3.
