IPL 2024: Who are the impact players nominated by CSK and LSG for game 39 of IPL 2024?
Lucknow Super Giants opted to bowl first in the match after winning the toss. At the toss, KL Rahul said that they took the decision considering the dew factor. KL Rahul said:
“We will bowl first. There is a bit of dew, we have trained here and there is a bit of dew which will have an impact. Wicket is a bit slow and I hope we can put pressure on their batsmen. We played well in all three facets but we have left the result in Lucknow. We know that Chennai is a challenge and everyone will cheer them on.
CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad also spoke about the dew factor in the toss and revealed that they dropped Rachin Ravindra from the playing XI, replacing him with Daryl Mitchell.
“Nothing different, but the coin toss is something I need to work on. There will be some dew ahead, but you never know how the wicket will surprise you. You just need to go out and express yourself, if the ball comes into your area they just attack it hoping to lay the groundwork from the beginning. A change for us: Daryl replaces Rachin.”
