The South African batter Dewald Brevis will now present for the Hampshire Hawks in his vitality T20 Blast campaign. Brevis made his debut in the Premier League (IPL) of India in 2022 for the Indians of Mumbai (MI). He has scored 230 races at an attack rate of 172 in 10 games with a higher score of 49. However, it was not sold at the IPL 2025 auction.

Brevis is known for playing franchise tournaments worldwide. It has appeared in the IPL, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Major League Cricket (MLC) and SA20. It was the sixth highest corridor of the recent SA20 edition, where he put 291 races at a strike rate of 184.17 to help my cape Town to secure his first title in this tournament.
