India’s legendary captain MS Dhoni recently opened up about his life after retiring from international cricket. Dhoni also revealed whether he missed playing for India after hanging up his boots or not.
Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. His last international match was the ODI World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand, where the Men in Blue suffered a heartbreaking defeat.
Dhoni was dismissed in the latter stages of the match as India failed to qualify for the final. His wicket was probably the final nail in the coffin as it allowed New Zealand to qualify for the summit clash.

Does MS Dhoni miss international cricket?

However, as expected, he gave a simple answer when asked about his absence from international cricket. He made it clear that he does not miss it since he thought a lot about the decision before announcing it and knows that there is no point in thinking about it again.
“I thought I would have more time, but unfortunately I don’t have much time. I don’t miss international cricket because I always think you know, you think about everything and then you take a decision,” Dhoni said.
“Once you have made a decision, there is no point in thinking about it. So I am very happy with the grace of God for everything I was able to do for my country,” he added.
