England gave a relief sigh on Saturday, since Opening batter Ben Duckett was clear to play the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
England will play its inauguration on February 22 against Australia at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.
Ben Duckett cleared to play after suffering an injury to groin
Duckett was seen limping slightly while hitting the third hate against India in Ahmedabad, but managed to score 34 of 22 balls. In the first tickets of the game when England was filming, Duckett was seen grabbing his leg after throwing a ball to Deep Midwickt during the 45th.
It seemed that England had another injury in their hands after Jacob Bethell’s total and the Wicktkeeper Jamie Smith were discarded from the champions trophy. Fortunately for the side of Jos Buttler, left -handed scans were clean and will be part of the team for the tournament.

“Duckett suffered the injury while presenting during the first entries of England’s third defeat against India in Ahmedabad last Wednesday,” he added.

England was guilty of multiple batting collapses in the series, but Duckett, along with the opening partner, Phil Salt, had a good time at the top. The duo had placed associations of 75, 81 and 60 at a fast pace. Duckett himself made 32 (29 balls), 65 (56 balls) and 34 (22 balls) in the series.
England is in Group B together with Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa. After their first game against Australia, they will play Afghanistan in Lahore and South Africa in Karachi on March 1.
England had reached the final of the 2013 Champions Trophy edition at home and then reached the semifinals in 2017, which was also held in the United Kingdom. The 2019 World Cup and the 2022 T20 World Cup champions had reached 2024 T20 World Cup semifinals in the Caribbean.
