A PCB official has also confirmed this agreement.
In a recent development, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar traveled to Pakistan to discuss India’s potential chances of traveling to the country for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
While there is no official confirmation yet about India’s trip, it definitely raises hopes of the Indian team traveling to Pakistan for the mega event.
Added to that, there have been advances to make travel to India possible. Among them, one offers assistance to the Indian team to return to India, either to Chandigarh or New Delhi, after completing each match to avoid staying in Pakistan for security reasons. A PCB official also confirmed this deal, highlighting that there is a gap of almost a week between the last two matches, a Cricbuzz report confirmed.

The final decision is yet to be taken by the Indian government
However, the final decision on whether the Indian team will travel to Pakistan for the eight-nation over-50 tournament lies with the Indian government. At this time, neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nor the International Cricket Council (ICC) can provide any confirmation.
The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 9, with the games taking place in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has arranged for all India matches to be held in Lahore, considering logistical convenience and security issues.
Furthermore, Lahore was chosen due to its proximity to the border, making it easier for Indian fans to attend. India’s three group matches are scheduled for February 20 (against Bangladesh), February 23 (against Pakistan) and March 2 (against New Zealand).
