Fangirl shares heartfelt post for Yashasvi Jaiswal

While Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a brilliant century, his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals shared a love that his fan didn’t post on ‘X’. Royals captioned the post: “You have done it, Jaiswal”while, the fan wrote in her publication, “Who is Yashasvi Jaiswal? for the blind, Jaiswal is the light. For the hungry, Jaiswal is bread. for the sick, Jaiswal is the cure. for the lonely, Jaiswal is company. for the sad, Jaiswal is joy. For the prisoner, Jaiswal is freedom. For me, Jaiswal is everything.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been a blessing to the Indian cricket team ever since he made his debut for the Indian team. Jaiswal hit a ton on his Test debut against the West Indies and plays fearlessly in front of the bowlers. He faces the opposing team with the first ball and puts pressure on them. He also gives the Indian team a left-hand option at the top of the batting line-up and also makes it easier for his teammate and Indian captain Rohit Sharma to play freely.

Yashasvi Jaiswal had a blast in the Indian Premier League 2023 for Rajasthan Royals. Jaiswal scored 625 runs in 14 games of IPL 2023 and smashed 5 half-centuries and hundreds at an average of 48.08. His strike rate throughout the season was 163.61.

Going back to the IND vs ENG Third test match, day 3 of the match belonged to India. The hosts finished England early on Day 3 for 319 runs in his first innings. India were able to remove overnight batsman Joe Root and batsman Jonny Bairstow in the space of 18 runs. Bairstow was dismissed for a duck by Kuldeep Yadav, while Jasprit Bumrah got rid of Root. Ben Stokes played a brief innings of 41 runs off 89 balls, however, no other England batsman could stay at the crease for long and he was dismissed cheaply.

The Indian team started well and came out to bat in the second innings where openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 30 runs for the first wicket. While Rohit couldn’t repeat the magic of his first innings and Joe Root dismissed him for 18 runs. However, Jaiswal added 155 runs along with Shubman Gill and put India in a strong position on Day 3. While Jaiswal retired injured, Gill remained unbeaten on 65 runs at the end of the day.

India would now aim to hand England a strong target and also win the match to take advantage in the five-match Test series.
