The bowler stared at Jaiswal, to which he replied, “Go bowl,” a blunt response.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jack Nisbet were involved in a cheeky sledge, with the former giving a forceful reply after feeling uncomfortable with a well-directed bouncer in the sixth over. First, Jaiswal scored a four off a longer delivery before hitting another boundary off the next ball.
However, Nisbet again bowled a fast delivery and Jaiswal could only get a lead but got no runs. The battle began immediately, and Nisbet followed it up with a good hit towards the goalkeeper, from which Jaiswal could not escape and took a heavy blow to his body.
The bowler stared at Jaiswal, to which he replied, “Go bowl,” a blunt response. It was a statement that shows that he is ready to face any blow and that he is not hampered by the typical Australian comments and aggressions, and that he continues to bat freely even after this blow.

Later, Nisbet again bowled a longer delivery, which Jaiswal placed towards the gully region, and followed it with another bounce to end the over. However, the line was slightly off, outside the line of leg stump, and Jaiswal comfortably dodged it, letting it through to end a rugged over full of aggression and heat.
Yashasvi Jaiswal scores 45 runs for India off Prime Minister’s XI
After opening the chase, Yashasvi Jaiswal impressed everyone with his fantastic knock against the Prime Minister’s XI. While there were some hits and misses, he continued to struggle in the middle and showed decent technique.
The start was not so smooth as the Prime Minister’s XI bowled in tight areas and tested him. Initially, he played some rash shots to break the shackles, but Jaiswal batted beautifully to put India on track once he was ready.
He scored 45 runs off 59 deliveries, including nine boundaries, and showed intent to score runs. He was eventually dismissed by Charlie Anderson in the 17th over but provided a solid start for the Indian team.
He was his team’s top scorer and got much-needed match practice before the day-night test. Jaiswal will be very prepared for the second match after today’s knock.
