In a great impulse for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) before the reset of the Premier League India (IPL 2025), the all -terrain of South Africa, Marco Jansen, will join the franchise during the rest of the season.

In particular, Jansen has been appointed in the 15 members of South Africa of 15 members ready to block horns with Australia in the World Testing Championship (WTC Final 2025), as of June 11. The IPL final, on the other hand, is scheduled for June 3 and Jansen could leave early if PBK does not reach the clash of the summit. Currently, there are conversations between the PBKS management and the Cricket South Africa (CSA) to see how long could remain with the franchise, if they deepen the tournament.

Jansen has been clinical for PBK in IPL 2025, taking 11 WICKETS at a good economy rate of 8.8. His ability to generate a good rebound even in flat tracks makes it a vital merchandise.

Speaking about Pbks’s possibilities to ensure an end among the top four, they are currently in a good position. The SIE led by Shreyas Iyer currently has seven wins and a draw of 11 games, taking its account to 15 points. They still have three more games and need a victory to ensure a place in the playoffs. Another victory would consolidate their place for a higher position and allow them to obtain two shots for the final.

PBKS plays Rajasthan Royals (RR) on May 18, followed by a match against the capital of Delhi (DC) on May 24 and his last match of the League against the Indians of Mumbai (MI) on May 26.
