Gujarat Titans Playing 11 vs Delhi Capitals – IPL 2024, Match 32

Gujarat Titans will take on Delhi Capitals in match 32 of IPL 2024 on April 17 starting at 7:30 pm IST. This is the first game between the two sides. Both teams will play twice this season.

GT has had a very complicated campaign so far, with three wins and as many losses. They are in sixth place heading into this game. They have yet to win back-to-back games and have any kind of consistency.

Shubman Gill scored 72 with the bat and led the chase against Rajasthan Royals as GT became the first team to beat Rajasthan Royals at home.

The victory should give them confidence to move forward in the tournament. As a team, they are already missing Mohammed Shami due to injury.

To make matters worse, they will now miss David Miller due to a sore hamstring for at least two weeks. Miller has missed the Titans’ last three games.

Shubman Gill (C)

Gill will open the batting for GT. He has just achieved a good shot of 72 off 44 balls in a winning cause for his team. He has scored 255 runs at an average of 51.00.

Sai Sudharsan

Without Saha available, Sai Sudharsan has been opening the batting for GT and has been consistent. He scored 35 off 29 balls. Sai and Gill are the two best GT racers so far this season.

Matthew Wade (WK)

Wade will be in at three. He scored only four off six balls. He has been playing IPL for over a decade but has only played 14 games with a best of 35. He has averaged just over 13 in his career.

Abhinav Manohar

Manohar, who came into the team for the last match, scored just one. With some injury concerns, he will get another chance and would like to make an impact.

Vijay Shankar

Shankar will come in at five. He has played for several IPL teams. He has been a consistent player in GT’s middle order. He scored 16 for 10 in the chase against Rajasthan but will retain his place in the XI.

Rahul Tewatia

Tewatia will enter at six. He scored 22 off 11 balls for the Titans in their win against TT. This was his first major performance this season. His X-factor as a finisher makes him a certainty in the XI.

Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan will take over at seven. He scored 24 off 11 balls in the win against RR. He also surpassed 50 wickets for the Titans earlier this season. Rashid is a regular in the XI.

Noor Ahmed

His teammate in Afghanistan, Noor Ahmad, will take eighth place. He took 16 wickets last season and has so far taken three wickets in four games.

Umesh Yadav

Umesh will be one of the two Indian seamers in the XI. GT signed him with Mohammed Shami ruled out of the season. So far this season, he has taken seven wickets in six games.

Mohit Sharma

Mohit will be the second Indian pacer in the XI. He was expensive in the last game, scoring 51 runs in his four overs. He has taken 8 wickets in six games this season.

Spencer Johnson

Johnson concludes GT’s probable XI. He put in a 4/37 spell against RR. He has taken three wickets in four games.

Sub-Shahrukh Khan Impact

Shahrukh Khan was used as an Impact Sub in the previous match, a move that didn’t work. He should be used in the same role if the need arises.
