While playing for the riders of eastern Delhi, he achieved a fight against fifty.
Gujarat Titans’s Wicktkeeper batter (GT), Anuj Rawat, started the new season of Delhi Premier League (DPL) with a good blow. While playing for the riders of the East of Delhi, Rawat achieved a fight against fifty while hitting in the average order, showing his true potential.
Rawat scored 55 races in just 35 balls, including five limits and two maximums, at an attack rate of 157.14. 58.18% of their total races arrived through four and six, and the left -handed accumulated 31.79% of the solo races.
When he reached the fold, the riders of the East of Delhi had 42/2 in 6.2 overs and required that an association remained on the way during the persecution. Rawat formed a crucial 49 racing stand with Hardik Sharma for the third wickt and assured that the required rate was around him along the entrances.
Later, he left in the fifth installment of 19, but said the runners were in a decent position, and the team finally won the game in the final ball in an exciting end. Rawat finished the game as the best scorer and won the game player award for his useful contributions.
Anuj Rawat could be retained by Gujarat Titans before the IPL 2026 auction
Gujarat Titans bought Anuj Rawat for INR 30 Lakhs before the IPL 2025 auction, but they didn’t give him any game. He warmed the bank throughout the season because they had Jos Buttler, who hit the number 3 and kept the Wickts on the stage of the League.

When Buttler left the camp in the elimination phase due to international commitments, GT agreed to Kusal Mendis as a temporal replacement and did not try Rawat. However, they could still retain it before the next auction, since it is an Indian Wicktkeeper batter that is not costing a large sum.
The best of them reaches the top, where you can take some balls before exploiting, but GT’s superior order has no room for any other batter. GT cannot retain Mendis and will stay alone with a few options in the Wicktkeeping department, so they must keep Rawat.
You can improve as a batter of power working in your game in local T20 tournaments and playing for your national team, which will open a place in the XI. GT often had the lack of batting depth last season, and Rawat can fill that place if his power game evolves.
