Indian Premier League (IPL) heavyweights, Mumbai Indians (MI), are known for having an excellent scouting network and unearthing talents who have become future superstars. From players like Hardik Pandya to Jasprit Bumrah among others, MI has always given a platform to budding talents and cultivated their craft guided by a rich team of experts and former players.

In the same vein, the current captain of the franchise, Hardik Pandya, shared an inspiring message for the new group of youngsters joining the team after being bought in the recent IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Notably, Hardik himself joined the MI family in 2015 as an unknown commodity but has since grown in stature and become one of the world’s leading all-rounders.

Hardik Pandya shares inspiring message for new youngsters joining Mumbai Indians

Pandya returned to MI again last year after leaving for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022.

Speaking in a video shared by MI on its social media, Pandya said:

“My message to all the youngsters who are joining Mumbai Indians this year is that if you are here, you have that spark, you have that talent, that the scouts have seen. They found me, they found Jasprit, they found Krunal, they found Tilak. In the end everyone played for the country. All you have to do is show up, train yourself, work hard and the best thing is that Mumbai Indians have the facilities to make them prosper.”

While MI decided to splurge on retaining their top stars like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yada, Tilak Varma and Jasprit Bumrah, they also made sure to attract promising young talents like Robin Minz, Naman Dhir, Bevan John Jacobs and Raj. Angad Bawa, among others, at the IPL 2025 auction.
