
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had thought that his defense of the Title of the Female Premier League (WPL) would be a bad start after admitting the highest total in the history of WPL against Gujarat giants.
In the WPL 2025 starter in Vadodara, RCB was in the alley of the strings first when the captain of the giants, Ashleigh Gardner, broke eight six and three limits on its undefeated blow of 79 of 37 balls to publish a total of 201/ 5 in 20 overs.
Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh raise RCB of a difficult situation
Gardner, who was fresh out of an excellent ash of women, gave RCB the screw to say goodbye to the opener Smriti Mandhana and Danni Wyatt-Hodge in the second on himself. But a timely blow to the Australian star Ellyse Perry (57 of 34 balls) followed by a 93 Blitzkrieg association of only 37 balls between Richa Ghosh and Kanika Ahuja flew giants.

Speaking after the victory, Ghosh revealed how training with a party simulator helped her deal with the pressure already breaking freely.
“I wanted to take it deeply and concentrated on my game. We (Ahuja and I) think that we could reach the total, and that we would play a positive game, ”said Ghosh after the game.
“The preparation we made with Sir (chief coach Luke Williams) really helped us. We had a lot of party situation during the practice matches. We maintained the objectives that if the situation is so and, then, what should we be doing? That helped me a lot, ”he revealed.
The couple was helped by multiple failures and lost captures of the giants, but also had to deal with the unequal limits at the Kotambi stadium.
“Yes, the limits were unequal, but I didn’t have that in mind. I knew I could clear, so I was reacting when the ball arrived, ”said Ghosh.
Ahuja, who had lost the last season, was euphoric of having contributed to victory.
“It feels great. I am very happy while I am playing after a year. All the visualizations and rehabilitation I did seemed to have helped me mentally. I tried to become a better player, ”said Ahuja.
Smriti mandhana satisfied with the winning start of WPL 2025
The Mandhana Captain was satisfied with the mid -order trio of Perry, Ghosh and Ahuja when his team achieved the highest persecution in the WPL.
“It was brilliant to see. They (Ahuja and Ghosh) have been doing it in the networks in the last seven to eight days to all our bowling players. I think after the first tickets we met with the dew that arrived, it was going to be difficult to play. So we always thought we were in the game. The way Richa and Fish hit (Perry) was incredible to see, ”said the RCB pattern.
