Changing bails has been a common trend throughout the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy and has been done in almost every innings. Whenever a team requires progress, it adopts this technique, even if this is nothing more than superstition.
Mitchell Starc pulled off a similar antics when Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant looked good as he swapped bails to reverse fortunes. However, Jaiswal noticed and returned them to their original positions, to which Starc had a few words to say.
“Superstitious, what are you trying there?” Starc exclaimed, to which Jaiswal bluntly replied, “I believe in myself. That’s why I’m here, right?” Starc asked again: “Then what are you changing those (bails) for, if not because of your superstition?” and Jaiswal replied, “I am just enjoying this moment of my life.”

India lose three wickets in final session to bring Australia back into the game
India had a perfect second session on the final day of the Boxing Day Test as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant blocked everything that came their way. They were vigilant and evaded all threats to put India in a safe position.
However, just after the tea break, Rishabh Pant played a loose shot and lost his wicket. That gave Australia a chance to get back into the game and they did so brilliantly.
