The atmosphere in the South African team was a problem for me at the time- AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers was having an interaction at Jio Cinema and said he didn’t have the established team he wanted to be a part of. De Villiers pointed out that a player needs a group of 4-5 people who are very close and understand the same things as the players.

“The atmosphere in the South African team was a problem for me at the time. I didn’t have the team created that I wanted to be a part of. That changed me during the end of my career. I lost a lot of friends in Boucher, Smith and Kallis after they retired. Suddenly, looking around, none of them were there.” said AB de Villiers.
