The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rejected the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) new proposal allowing the Indian team to return to their country after playing all the matches.
The PCB promised to provide assistance to the Indian team to allow it to cross the border after each game. Since India’s matches will be held in Lahore and the city is close to the Indian border, the PCB saw it as a convenient option to allow India’s presence in the tournament.

BCCI rejects new PCB proposal for India’s arrival in Pakistan
However, it is learned that the BCCI is yet to receive any such request from the PCB. The news was confirmed by a senior BCCI official, as reported by Dainik Jagran. The official spoke more about the idea.
A senior BCCI official said that for the first time no proposal came from Pakistan. Even if there is a proposal to send the Indian team to Pakistan before the Champions Trophy match and bring it back to India after the match, it will be rejected. pic.twitter.com/ZTJ1xwmpWp
