England and Australia will be drawn in the same group at the 2024 T20 World Cup, according to Telegraph reports. The mega event will take place in the United States of America (USA) and the Caribbean next year from June 4 to 30.

Reports added that Barbados will host the match between England and Australia at the T20 World Cup 2024. The two teams also faced each other at the Kensington Oval during the T20 World Cup final in 2010, which England won.

England and Australia have been the best T20I teams for the last two years. While Australia won the T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates, England emerged victorious in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Therefore, it will be exciting to watch the meeting between the two teams.

In addition to Barbados, reports added that England will play in Antigua and Saint Lucia. It was also learned that the team led by Jos Buttler will play all their matches, including the super eight matches in the West Indies. This is because ICC ensures that fans plan ahead and watch their teams play.

Reports also revealed that the full matches of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be announced later this week. The tournament is just a few months away and it is fair to say that it will be an exciting contest to watch as many teams will be participating in the tournament this time around.

The competition between bat and ball is expected to be very high. England are the defending champions and it will be a very difficult task for them to defend the title. This time there will be some new teams in the league. Partner nations will also be present and cannot be taken lightly.
