All the reasons for the next ICC The Cricket World Cup 2023 will be updated ahead of the competition, which will take place in India later this year in October-November. Mumbai has new spotlights and corporate boxes; Lucknow has a resurgent course; Kolkata has redone the dressing rooms; Dharamsala has a new garden with imported grass; Pune has a new temporary roof; and Delhi has improved ticketing and toilets. These are some of the initiatives that will be carried out in the venues where the matches of the ICC World Cup 50-over 2023 will take place in October and November.
The cities of Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Dharamsala, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Kolkata will host World Cup matches. Warm-up contests are held in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati.
Each stadium has various requirements. The gardens of Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, which will host four league games and a semi-final, will be renovated. New LED lighting will also be installed and corporate boxes and restrooms will be updated.

Also, the famous Eden Gardens in Kolkata will get upgraded changing rooms, according to The Indian Express, and the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, which will host India’s game against England, will have its open ground.
The Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune will have a new temporary roof, while the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala will have an outdoor pitch with imported grass. Meanwhile, the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will develop an improved ticketing system and better toilets. Additionally, the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will be fitted with new LED lighting and will house two red earth pitches.

The BCCI would provide Rs 50 crore for infrastructure upgrades at each stadium of the 2023 ODI World Cup:
According to a report by Indian Express, each stadium of the 2023 ODI World Cup will be given Rs 50 crore to renovate their individual infrastructures. India’s cricket board has donated nearly 500 crores to the 10 World Cup venues.
“We rebuilt the entire surface of the stadium and also did a makeover of the VVIP and hospitality boxes. We hire the best expert for the relay process. We wanted to make sure we had good drainage facilities and source grass from abroad. We changed some seats and painted the stands. There was a leak problem, we also fixed it. We wanted to make sure that after the rain, the game started as soon as possible.” Arun Dhumal, a member of the HPCA, told The Indian Express.
