The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Sunday (May 28) announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup qualifiers, which will take place in Zimbabwe next month. Rohit Poudel will captain the team in what will be his first mega event.
The team looks pretty similar to what they have been fielding in their last few games. Nepal have been brilliant with both bat and ball, having lost just one of their last 18 games and qualified for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers as well as the Asian Cup.

Nepal is placed in Pool A along with hosts Zimbabwe, the West Indies, the Netherlands and the USA. With the kind of cricket they have shown in recent weeks, they can really surprise and qualify for the main event in India, scheduled for October-November.
