ICC World Test Championship Final: Ravindra Jadeja Smacks A Huge Record In Tests; Surpasses Bishan Bedi To Become Highest Indian Wicket-Taker Among Left-Arm Spinners

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja broke the mass record in Test cricket. He surpassed Bishan Singh Bedi to become India’s highest wicket-taker in the history of the game among left-arm spinners. The lefty accomplished the feat in the current ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.

Ravindra Jadeja managed to place wickets on the seam-friendly track in the ongoing ICC WTC final against Australia and, as always, managed to contribute to the team’s cause. The all-rounder accomplished the feat when he tagged out Steve Smith and Travis Head in the second inning.

Aside from this record, he has also sacked Steve Smith 8 times in his Test career, which is the second highest time after Stuart Broad (9).

With the kind of display he showed on the ball today, he is expected to play a big part with the ball on Day 4. After recording 296 runs in response to Australia’s 469 runs, India stepped in with quick second-innings wickets and kept themselves on the hunt. At Stumps on Day 3, Australia were 123/4 and took a 296-run lead.
