The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against India later this month. Najmul Hossain Shanto, who led the Bangladesh team to a historic victory on the tour of Pakistan, will continue to lead the national cricket team during the Test series.
Bangladesh will take on the Rohit Sharma-led side in the two-match series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. The first Test will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, starting from September 19. Kanpur will host the second and final Test match.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board took to its official Twitter account on Thursday, September 12 to announce the squad for the Test matches against India.
