Indian national cricketer Jasprit Bumrah has picked five cricketers to form a futsal team. The top-class player picked three players from the Indian team, including himself, along with two players from the England national cricket team.

The first name that Jasprit Bumrah picked was former Indian national cricket team captain MS Dhoni. Later, he also mentioned Virat Kohli along with himself. The duo of Kohli and Dhoni are good football players as has been seen during the warm-up matches.

Indian players also participated in some charity football matches and in those matches, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were the standout performers. They are also considered among the best in Indian cricket for the kind of performances they have put in for the team.

Jasprit Bumrah also picked Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad as the last two players in his futsal squad featuring cricketers. The English duo are also good football players as they have often been seen warming up and showcasing their skills.

In the cricket arena, Bumrah has not played a single match for the Indian National Cricket Team since the 2024 T20 World Cup. He was the main reason behind the team winning the tournament as he put up a magical effort throughout the World Cup.

Bumrah won India almost every match with his sensational bowling. He changed the tone of the game and helped India win matches in the toughest situations throughout the tournament, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

Bumrah won the Player of the Tournament award for his 15 wickets at an average of 8.26 and helped his team end the title drought and win the first ICC title after 2013. He has since been rested as the team management decided to manage his workload.

Jasprit Bumrah will return to action in the Test series against Bangladesh.

Bumrah will be back in action in the Test series against the Bangladesh national cricket team. The two teams will face each other in the two-match Test series and the series will be extremely important for the team in the context of the ICC World Test Championship Final.

The Test series will begin on September 19. The first match of the series between the teams will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and thereafter, the second match will be played from September 27 in Kanpur. The Rohit Sharma-led team is at the top of the WTC points table while Bangladesh is fourth in the table.

Bumrah will be extremely crucial for the team in the Test series against Bangladesh. He last played for India in Tests against England. The fast bowler exuded his class with the ball and was among the leading wicket-takers in the series.
