Indian cricket star KL Rahul was thrown into the hot seat in an exciting and unpredictable Instagram shoot, facing a unique challenge that went viral.

In the Kiraat session, hosted by Raj Varma, Rahul tackled a ‘blind’ ranking game, where he had to rate some of the world’s best cricketers without knowing who would come next.

His quick thinking and strategic foresight were put to the test till the very end as Rahul bowled out legendary players like James Anderson and Dale Steyn, creating a stir in the cricketing world.

This blindfold game started with an unexpected twist as Rahul had no idea who would be the winner, forcing him to play smart.

KL Rahul’s blind ranking challenge goes viral as Dale Steyn takes the top spot

The first name that was mentioned to him was none other than that of the iconic England fast bowler, James Anderson.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman acknowledged Anderson’s excellence with the ball and placed him at number two, hinting that even bigger names are to come.

As expected, legendary South African spinner Dale Steyn stepped into action. Rahul did not miss a beat and immediately crowned Steyn as the number one spinner.

Steyn’s thrilling career, marked by blistering pace and ferocious spells, undoubtedly earned him the number one spot in Rahul’s line-up.

But the surprises did not end there as Afghanistan spin wizard and T20 superstar Rashid Khan made the list at number four.

Known for his unplayable leg-spin and incredible talent to put batsmen in trouble, Rashid was ranked fourth by Indian batsman for his unique talent.

The Indian sprinter jasprit bumrahthe leader of their pace attack, ranked number three.

Rahul’s ranking of Bumrah was a calculated decision as Bumrah’s recent exploits in international cricket have cemented his place as one of the most feared bowlers of the modern era.

The interesting session ended with Pakistan’s young sensational spinner Naseem Shah completing Rahul’s list at number five.

However, all those named were suggested by the hosts and accordingly, the Karnataka star placed them among his best bowlers.

These are KL Rahul’s top five bowlers:

  1. James Anderson
  2. Dale Stein
  3. jasprit bumrah
  4. Rashid Khan
  5. Naseem Shah
